GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT FOR RESIDENCY:

Hold an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by PM&DC
Have a valid registration with the PM&DC until December 2016 at the least. Candidates whose PM&DC license will be expiring in December 2015 are required to submit copies of their current license as well as their PM&DC license renewal application.
A year’s experience as a house officer/intern with six months each in medicine and allied specialties and surgery and allied specialties.
Registration with the research and training monitoring cell (RTMC), CPSP, as trainees for the relevant intermediate module will be preferred.

FCPS Part I in Medicine/ Surgery/Anaesthesia

3: GENERAL SURGERY:

Minimum 3 months House Job in General Surgery
FCPS Part I in General Surgery

4: INTERNAL MEDICINE:

Minimum 3 months house job in Medicine
FCPS Part I in Medicine & allied

5: NEUROLOGY:

FCPS Part I in Medicine & Allied
Mandatory 2 years training in Medicine
IMM cleared

6: NEURO SURGERY:

FCPS Part I
Mandatory 2 years training in General Surgery

7: OBSTETRICS / GYNAECOLOGY:

Minimum 3 months house job in Obs/Gynae
FCPS Part I in Obs/ Gynae

8: PAEDIATRICS:

Minimum 3 months house job in Paediatrics
FCPS Part I in Medicine & Allied

9: PLASTIC SURGERY: 

FCPS Part I in General Surgery
2 years training in General Surgery

FELLOWSHIP

Applications are invited for the following fellowship Programmes

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

There will be no admission test for entrance into fellowship training. Selection will be based on interviews

General

TRANSPLANT HEPATOLOGY:

FCPS( Gastroenterology) or Equivalent

Candidates who have already completed FCPS Gastroentology training & are eligible to appear in FCPS part-II examination can also apply.

BENEFITS:

The current salary ranges from Rs50, 000 per month at resident level I to Rs 55,000 per month at resident level V. General facilities offered during residency training In line with the institutional policies, a package of fringe benefits is available to the residents.
Earned leave entitlement is 30 working days per annum, encashable to a maximum of 50 per cent of the entitlement.
Paid maternity leave is granted for a period of 12 consecutive weeks to all the female residents.
Entitlement is up to 15 calendar days per annum.
Medical facilities for self, spouse, and dependent children is in line with the hospital’s current medical insurance policy.
Only on-call accommodation is provided to all residents. The outstation residents are provided a living out allowance.
A resident’s appointment contract is for a period of one year. Contract renewal is based on evaluation of the resident performance.
