PM&DC has recalled its earliest decision of submission of CME Hours at the time of renewal.
All Medical and Dental Practitioners All registered Medical / Dental Practitioners are informed that PM&DC has recalled its earlier decision of submission of CME hours at the time of renewal. The same amnesty has been given till December 2015. Upon provision of an affidavit, from 1st June 2015, renewal of registration shall be extended without CME certificate. Doctor has to submit year wise CME contact hours i.e. 15 hours per year for GPs and 30 hours/contact hours for specialist’s i.e for year 2015 and onwards. It is mandatory for all the doctors to submit this affidavit stating that they shall be duty bound to submit their CME and can be downloaded from PM&DC website along with renewal form II.
This decision is implemented on all the registered Medical/Dental Practitioners. Doctors are directed to download CME form from PM&DC website (with instructions) and submit with pre-requisite CME hours before end of every year by post or email (certificate copies must be dully attested by gazetteted officer). These CME hours shall be accumulated every year and at the time of renewal after five years these accumulated CME hours i.e 75 hours for GPs and 150 hours for specialist will make them eligible to practice and to renewal shall be granted for further 5 years with lisence to practice.
